X'andri Bautista gets their Capstone Research publishes by the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges, COPLAC.
On January 8, 2024, X'andri got their Capstone Research publishes by COPLAC, the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges, "a higher education non-profit that promotes an accessible liberal arts education in student-centered, residential environments at public universities. Sonoma State is the only California University Institution that is part of the Council.
This Fall 2023 semester Sonoma State selected 12 students to represent the university in COPLAC's Virtual Midwest/West Regional Conference. X'andri Bautista was 1 of 12 students selected to present their research and represent Sonoma State in a virtual presentation. (*Watch it Here!) X'andri is 1 of 7 publications selected for the Metamorphosis Journal this Fall, and the only SSU student to publish (Refusing to “Just Survive”The Experiences of Chicana Activistas in Higher Education).
